AT A GLANCE

The Organization, BAMOIR BISHNUPUR VIVEKANANDA SMRITI SANGHA is a well known as voluntary social welfare Organization for all-round rural development, youth and women empowerment of the community village area. It is a non- profit, non-political and secular association which is registered under Society Registration Act.XXVI of 1961, Government of West Bengal. Since, its inception, the Sangha is deeply associated with various rural development programmes, particularly for the women and children, students and youth and Income generating Training-cum-Employment-cum Production Unit by group formation among the Boys & Girls only and also the community upliftment with the implementation of several programmes through community participation of the villagers. All its activities get momentum with the active participation of the peoples and students of this Organization. The main area of its activities locate in poverty alleviation, improvement of education, health, sanitation and nutrition, conservation of natural resource, prevent and control of environmental pollution, village health nutrition development camp for the women and children, conducting seminar, conference, workshop, camp, awareness and counseling and also the training of Physical Fitness along with Physical Fitness Practices through exercise & Yoga etc. The Sangha/Organization is also providing liaison to individuals & local youth, mainly Mohila Mondal, Adolescent Girls, and Yuba Modals in their efforts for rural development. It keeps constant contact with various departments of Government, Non-government Funding Agencies, and Donors for various welfare measures towards concrete development. It is also closely involved for undertaking various socio-economic development programmes.
